ABackground
I lead product design teams that turn customer problems into products people use and businesses grow from. I sit side by side with engineering instead of handing off specs, and I judge design by what it does for the business.
At Fishbowl I dealt firsthand with activation, adoption, retention, expansion and margin, so I know which levers a design decision actually moves. Before that I spent seven years building apps for Legrand. And I came up through the trades in framing, metalwork and fabrication, so I respect how things get built and what it takes for them to hold up.
I love turning complex challenges into clean, thoughtful experiences and helping others do the same. Whether I’m shaping product strategy or mentoring designers, I bring a user-first mindset and a collaborative approach.
BExperience
Led end-to-end product design for a fast-growing media technology company using Claude and Figma. Partnered with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and translate business goals into user-centric solutions. Championed design systems and accessibility while leading a small team of designers and product managers.
Led the design vision across Fishbowl’s product ecosystem, including launching the company’s first SaaS platform from the ground up. Introduced a modern design system, established UX best practices, and built a strong in-house design team with remote employees. Helped shift the company toward a more user-centered mindset through research, cross-functional workshops and design leadership.
Founded and built Legrand’s first UX team. Led the creation of multiple 0→1 applications in the home automation space, hands-on from discovery through delivery, for smart home software and devices that won design awards.
Product and marketing design for cloud-based legal software: clean, intuitive UI, customer-facing materials, and video content for training and onboarding.
